As you have probably heard, record rainfall this past weekend caused the Patapsco River to rise more than 13 feet Saturday night, causing the deaths of two people and the rescue of more than 100 others.  The rain also caused severe damage to homes and businesses in Ellicott City, prompting Governor Larry Hogan to declare a state of emergency.  You can help if interested by visiting the following websites:

Governor Hogan will be in the Hampstead area on Saturday, August 6th, 2016 at 6 pm for a Summer Pig Roast benefiting his campaign. Scam Alert

If a live person calls your house claiming to be with the IRS and threaten arrest because of unpaid taxes, do NOT give them any information.  The IRS will not call you, they will only contact you through the mail.  If you receive a phone call, contact the Federal Trade Commission and file a complaint.

 

Old New Windsor Road Closure

Hahn Road – Road Closure

Hahn Road at the intersection of Hahn Road and the Maryland Midland Railway is scheduled to be closed to all traffic on or about August 5 through August 10, 2016.  Please use posted detours.
