Carroll County Delegation to Wrap Up Session Items
The Carroll County Delegation will hold a meeting to address final local business at 9 a.m., Thursday, February 23, 2023. The hearing is via zoom and will be live streamed on the Maryland General Assembly website link: https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Meetings/Day/02232023.
The six-member delegation will primarily meet to vote on two local bills:
- SB897 Carroll County - Contracts and Purchasing increases by $25,000 the amount the commissioners can enter into a contract for public works projects.
- SB529 Carroll County – Sober Living Houses - Authorization allow the county’s comprehensive plan to include and address exceptions for these facilities.
