I hope you and your family had a wonderful and relaxing holiday season. As we ring in the New Year, I pray that 2026 will be a good year for Maryland. There is a lot to be thankful for, but there is a lot to accomplish to make Maryland better for families, retirees and job creators!
Legislative Priority to End Vehicle Emissions Testing
The 2026 Legislative Session begins next Wednesday the 14th in Annapolis. One of my priorities in the upcoming legislative session is to introduce and pass legislation to eliminate the Maryland Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program entirely. This program which was created in 1979 is outdated, unnecessary, and financially burdensome, as modern consumer vehicles are built clean enough to be on the road without required government inspections.
