Brian DeLeonardo Named to Carroll County Circuit Court.

Governor Larry Hogan today announced that he has appointed Brian DeLeonardo to serve on the Carroll County Circuit Court.

“Brian DeLeonardo has a long and distinguished record of service, and will make an outstanding addition to the circuit court,” said Governor Hogan. “I am pleased to enthusiastically appoint him to serve the people of Carroll County.”

Brian DeLeonardo has served as the State’s Attorney for Carroll County since 2014. As the Carroll County State’s Attorney, he oversees an office of 50 people that handle approximately 7,000 criminal matters in District and Circuit Court each year. He sets prosecution policy, discusses issues and legal strategies on certain cases with the prosecutors assigned to them, evaluates potential plea offers, and keeps apprised of developments in the most serious cases. I was proud to support Brian for the judicial appointment and am pleased with Governor Hogan’s selection of him.
