In an effort to keep you informed on the latest news surrounding COVID19 and the response in Maryland, I wanted to pass along the following information about the Governor’s latest executive order:
Governor Hogan issued the attached Coronavirus Executive Order yesterday expanding restrictions and requiring people to stay at home beginning 8:00 p.m. on March 30th. The full text of the Order can be found at https://governor.maryland.gov/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/Gatherings-FOURTH-AMENDED-3.30.20.pdf. There are numerous exceptions listed in the Order. For example, you can still leave home to obtain necessary supplies (food, medicine, sanitation & cleaning supplies, safety), provide care for family members and pets, and engage in individual exercise (walking, running, biking). You can also leave home to travel to and from an “essential” job, defined in the Order. Food delivery is permitted. Food pick-up to go from restaurants is permitted. Non-essential businesses can no longer operate, even on a curbside pickup basis. Detailed guidance on the Governor's order can be found at https://governor.maryland.gov/covid-19-pandemic-orders-and-guidance/.
