I hope everyone had a great Easter the other weekend, remained safe during our tornado-like weather, and are enjoying time with family as the school year winds down.

Statement on Synagogue Shooting and Sri Lanka Terrorist Attack

The past two weeks have featured awful attacks on people of faith. From bombings of Christians worshipping on Easter Sunday in Sri Lanka to the anti-Semitic motivated shooting at the Pomory Synagogue in California this past weekend, the rise in violence aimed at people in places of worship is extremely troubling. I’d like to take this opportunity to wish my sincerest condolences to those affected by the synagogue shooting that left one dead and three injured and the families of the hundreds who were murdered in Sri Lanka. Attacks such as these must be condemned harshly by those in leadership. Our prayers are with the survivors and families.
