In light of the recent attacks in Las Vegas, I would like to express my sincerest thoughts and prayers towards all of those affected by this tragedy. Carroll Awarded Grants for Rural Legacy Program
The Hogan Administration has focused on improving the conditions in every part of the State, not just the metropolitan area. Under the O’Malley Administration, Carroll, and other rural counties were consistently ignored in state programs. Governor Hogan has proven that he is a Governor for the entire State. Recently the Governor allocated close to $1 million in funding to support a Rural Legacy program at Little Pipe Creek/Upper Patapsco in Carroll County. This will contribute to the cultural, historical, and natural preservation in our Community.

Hogan Administration Releases Customer Service Initiative Annual Report
When Governor Hogan was elected in 2014, he pledged to make the state government more consumer friendly by initiating a new attitude oriented towards customer service. The initiative focuses on three core points: a renewed focus on a strong service culture in state agencies, improved customer service training for Maryland’s 50,000 state employees, and the establishment of new service performance metrics. Maryland is now the first state in the nation to participate in Customer Experience Day. We will continue to work with Governor Hogan to make Maryland a better place for families, businesses, and retirees.
I just wanted to thank those were able to attend this year’s Ready Fall Family Event last weekend. We had a great time and enjoyed some wonderful Carroll County food from Outlaw BBQ in Hampstead. If you weren’t able to attend, we missed you, but you can still checkout the Facebook Live from the event on my Senator Justin Ready Facebook Page. Thanks again for all of your support.
