Ready Report- October 26
It is hard to believe that we have reached the end of October. 2017 is flying by, and Session 2018 will be here before you know it. Next year is a pivotal year for the State of Maryland, not only is it an election year, we know that we have a great opportunity to continue working with Governor Hogan to make Maryland a better place for families, job creators, and retirees. I look forward to sharing our legislative goals for 2018 with you soon.
President Trump Tax Relief Plan
President Trump recently announced tax relief initiatives for American families and businesses. After eight years of President Obama’s liberal policies, the American people are desperate for relief. The tax plan introduced by President Trump will help stimulate real job growth and reduce the burden on taxpayers. Please sign the petition. Let’s show Congress that we support common sense tax relief.
Hogan Supports Israel
On Monday, the Governor signed an executive order to forbids the State from working with businesses who participate in the BDS Boycott of Israel. The BDS movement is a discriminatory boycott based on religion and national origin. I applaud the Governor for partnering with Maryland’s Jewish communities to help eliminate religious based commercial discrimination in Maryland.

MD Business Opportunities and Entrepreneurial Training Summit
Under Governor Hogan, Maryland has been committed to helping job-creators survive in a difficult business climate. On Monday, November 13, the State will be hosting the Third Annual Business Opportunities and Entrepreneurial Training Summit. This is a chance for small businesses owners to receive valuable training from prime contractors. To register click here.

Congratulations to Hampstead Farmers Market
One of the best things about living in a rural based community is the fresh produce from our local farmers. Earlier this month the Hampstead Farmers Market completed its 8th successful season. To read more about the local events to be hosted in the area click here.
