The Maryland Business for Responsive Government (MBRG), a statewide non-profit and nonpartisan political research organization with their publication Roll Call (their scorecard for legislators’ voting record on business issues), has for the fifth year in a row, scored Senator Justin Ready (R- 5) as a John Shaw Award recipient. The score relates to Senator Ready’s pro-business voting record in the 2015 General Assembly Session.
Senator Ready’s score reflects his commitment to promoting business-friendly, pro-job creation policies locally and statewide. “I am thankful to receive recognition from MBRG. They do outstanding work holding legislators accountable to job creators for their votes. My goal is to do all I can to make Maryland a place where families can afford to live and businesses can grow and thrive," said Ready, who represents Carroll County. "I am continuing to fight for real change in Maryland’s business climate, working with Governor Hogan to help entrepreneurs and job creators thrive in Maryland.”
The criteria for the score and the MBRG’s Roll Call publication can be seen at their website www.mbrg.org. The entire District 5 team, including Delegates Susan Krebs, April Rose, and Haven Shoemaker received awards from MBRG.
