Are you interested in applying for a Maryland Senatorial Scholarship?
Take the following steps to ensure a succesful application:
- To be eligible for a Senatorial Scholarship, you must attend a Maryland college or university or a private career school. You may also attend an out of state university and be eligible for a scholarship if the major you are perusing is unique and not offered in Maryland. Private career schools must have the Maryland Higher Education Commission’s approval to operate and be accredited by a national accrediting association approved by the United States Department of Education.
- Students may use the Senatorial Scholarship towards undergraduate studies or graduate studies, and may attend full or part-time while pursuing a college degree. Full-time attendance is defined as twelve credits per semester for undergraduate students and part-time attendance is defined as six to eleven credits per semester for undergraduate students.
- To obtain an application, please email Emily VanHorn at [email protected] After filling out the application, mail your application along with your most recent unofficial transcript with a postmark not later than March 31, 2016 in order to be considered for a scholarship for the 2016-2017 academic year.
