Storm Response – Virtual Disaster Center Opening on Tuesday, June 11th

The last 48 hours have seen storms rock Central Maryland and Carroll and Frederick Counties have been hit by tornadoes and high winds and water. I hope you and your family are doing okay and have avoided property damage or injury. However, I wanted to get the following information from the Maryland Insurance Administration (MIA) out in case you or someone you know has been impacted by the storms:

From MIA:
The Maryland Insurance Administration (MIA) will open its Virtual Disaster Center (VDC) to help anyone with insurance-related issues or questions regarding damage from recent tornado and severe storm events for two sessions on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm and 6:00 – 7:00 pm.

Below is a flyer containing details for the MIA’s VDC. The VDC can also be easily accessed through this Zoom link [https://www.zoomgov.com/j/1614159526] or via dial-in number at (646) 828-7666; Meeting ID: 161 415 9526.

As always, please feel free to reach out to my office with any questions or concerns you have and my staff and I will do our best to help. You can email my office at [email protected] or call 410-841-3683. Voicemails and emails are checked frequently. Have a great rest of the week!
