Good afternoon!
Tomorrow, Tuesday July 19th is primary day in Maryland. If you have not already voted (mail-in or early voting), and have any questions about where to vote tomorrow, you can visit this website to find your polling place - precincts have changed with redistricting so it's a good idea to check: https://voterservices.elections.maryland.gov/PollingPlaceSearch.
Yesterday, the Carroll County Times ran a letter I submitted in support of three candidates that I've talked with you all about before, Delegate April Rose and Chris Tomlinson for two of the three House of Delegates positions in District 5 and Haven Shoemaker for Carroll County State's Attorney. You can view that letter by clicking here.
As you may remember, I've reached out in the past about other candidates that I support - you can see that past breakdown by visiting this link.
As always, you can reach out to me with any questions at [email protected]!
IMPORTANT Note Regarding Absentee/Mail In Ballots - If you requested and received a mail-in ballot and you show up to vote in person, you will be required to vote a provisional ballot which will not be counted until later in July. The reason for this is actually a good security measure - the County Board of Elections wants to ensure no one votes twice. So, if you have received a mail in ballot, you may want to consider sending it back in or using one of the drop boxes available at the early voting sites and the Carroll County Board of Elections.
